This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect from or about you through your interactions with and use of SafetyLink.io — a workplace safety SaaS platform accessible via any modern web browser — including when you interact with us on social media platforms or on the web. SafetyLink.io may contain links to third-party websites. We encourage users to read the privacy policies of all websites they visit.
Information We Collect
We collect personal information when you interact with SafetyLink.io, provide information directly or via third-party sources (including social media), or through other channels such as phone, in-person, or email. Types collected include, without limitation:
- Name, username, phone number, and email address
- Employer, mailing address, and geographic location information
- Automatically collected data about your use of SafetyLink.io
- Information from third parties to supplement records and detect fraud
When you interact with any SCCI social media page, we may collect your account ID/username, profile picture, email address, friends list, and any other publicly available information. The information obtained depends on your privacy settings on that platform.
We may also automatically collect information about your equipment and browsing actions as you navigate SafetyLink.io, including browser/OS type, referring domain, time spent, and pages viewed. We may aggregate this information across users.
SMS Privacy Notice
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
SafetyLink.io uses cookies, Google Analytics, web beacons (pixels), and similar technologies to operate the platform and help collect data. Cookies are small text files placed on your device. Most browsers accept cookies by default; you can disable them in your browser settings, though some platform features may not function properly.
SafetyLink.io may use Google Analytics to analyze how users use the platform. You may opt out by visiting Google's opt-out page. We also use these technologies to track visits, combat fraud, analyze performance, and improve services. SafetyLink.io does not currently process or respond to "Do Not Track" signals.
How We Use Your Personal Information
We will only use your personal information for business and commercial purposes, including:
- To provide you with the SafetyLink.io services you have subscribed to
- To provide and/or improve SafetyLink.io and our services and products
- To perform customer service functions, including responding to requests and inquiries
- For security and fraud prevention
- For marketing and promotional purposes

- With third-party service providers in order to provide SafetyLink.io and subscribed services

We have implemented appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to SafetyLink.io. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.
Retention
We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including to provide services to you, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. SCCI will also retain SafetyLink.io usage data for internal analysis purposes.
Communication Preferences
We may send you communications related to your transactions, security, or the administration of your SafetyLink.io account. We may also send other messages or updates about SafetyLink.io, our services, and promotions.
If you do not wish to receive non-transaction/security related communications, you may opt out by clicking "unsubscribe" in any communication, or by contacting us as described in the Contact Us section. Opting out will not affect your registered subscriptions — to cancel a subscription, log in and cancel through SafetyLink.io. Please note that opt-out requests may take a reasonable amount of time to process.
Targeted Advertising
We do not control third parties' collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide ways to opt out:

Children's Privacy
SafetyLink.io is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18 or who otherwise lacks capacity to consent on their own behalf. International Transfer of Information
SCCI and our processors, sub-processors, and third-party vendors are located in the United States. If you reside outside of the United States, you explicitly consent to us transferring your name, email address, and any other information you provide through SafetyLink.io to the United States in order for us to perform services for you.
Integrated or Linked Third-Party Services
SafetyLink.io may be linked to, rely on, and/or be integrated with websites, applications, interfaces, services, and platforms operated by other companies to facilitate certain services and/or functionality. For example, SafetyLink.io uses Stripe to process subscription payments, and may use Zoom or Google Meet to facilitate a portion of the services offered through the Site.
All information shared with such third-party service providers is provided directly by you to them and is subject to such third-party's privacy terms and policies. SCCI is not a party to your engagement of such third-party service providers, nor do we receive any of the information that you provide to them directly. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of all websites you visit and services you obtain.
